ONLY THE STRONG SURVIVE!!
or in our case.....
those smart enough to read the rules
***
Nobody likes them but every site needs
a set to keep things running smoothly. If
you don't read them, don't whine to us
later when we smack you around for not
following our rules.
{REGISTRATION}
Obviously you can't do a single thing if you
try to skip this step. Register under whatever
name you like but once you begin applying
we want to see a first, middle and last name
all in capital letters.
Decide where you wanna go with your character
for there are 6 different cliques they can be a
part of ... that is if they are students. The
staffer looking over your application file will choose
the clique by what your character appears like!
Of course you can also just play a local, with a job
to your liking, living his life in the big apple. This is
not only a High School site, we encourage local
applications! Once accepted make your way
over to the claims to get your pb and other
necessary items claimed.
{WORD COUNT}
We as staff really hate to impose a word
count since everybody does have an off day
and we would like to encourage both new
and advance writers to join. In an effort to
do this we have decided on a minimum word
count of 200. Despite this minimum word
count we would like people to keep one thing
in mind when posting. Please give as good
as you get. We don't want to see 1,000 word
post being responded to with 200 word posts.
It's just not fair to the other writer and gives
them nothing to really respond to.
{CHARACTER CREATION}
You already know what you have to do in
order to register your character{'s}. This is
where we tell you that we would like you to keep
the character count to no more then 5. We also
want to encourage you to keep them active and
keep our ratio in mind. Since we have an all boys
and all girls school we have a 2:1 ratio of girls
to boys, which means for every two girls
you create, you must create a boy.
Examples: 2:1 - 3:2
{GRAPHICS}
Icons can be up to 150x200 pixels but we
prefer 130x200 pixels. We also ask that
signatures be no bigger then 400x500
pixels since we do not want to stretch out
the screen for people.
{EVERYTHING ELSE}
When it comes to things like pregnancy,
death or major events of any kind, staff will
have the last say. We don't want to see
everybody pregnant at once or anything like
that.
There is a Lifetime Achievement system on
this site that is detailed more in Chapter Three.
Through it you as a player can earn points
through activity, commitment and dedication
which can be spent on such rewards as your
own business or a pregnancy.
This is the end of the road but to me the
most important section of the rules. This is
just remind you about common courtesy,
treat others the way you want to be treated,
etc, etc. Keep this in mind and we'll get
along great. The staff is here to assist you
and make the ride as smooth as possible. But
it's not an easy job so please cut us some slack.
None the less even staff has to oblige to the
rules above. We take AC's and we have to earn
Lifetime points to get where we want to be
like everyone else.
